The guest of the forum was Rev. Laurene LaFountaine, an ordained minister in the Denver Presbytery of the Presbyterian Church USA. She developed and teaches a "biblical self-defense seminar" on behalf of homosexual persons in Christian churches. Rev. LaFountaine posed these questions to John Rankin:

1. Why are the Scriptures rife with polygamy?
2. Why did Jesus say nothing about homosexuality?
3. How can biblical creation be interpreted as the work of the triune Christian God, given the Jewish origin of the Genesis text?
