The guest of the forum was Norm Allen, executive director of African-Americans for Humanism. He is a member of the speaker's bureau at the Council for Secular Humanism and is an associate editor of Free Inquiry magazine. Mr. Allen believes same-sex marriage laws should be enacted to provide gay and lesbian persons the same rights available to other citizens, and in order to improve the stability of American families.
